According to the NMLS there have been over 72,297 failed attempts at the NMLS Tests as of Aug 31, 2010. That’s combined National and State, first time takers plus re-takers.
Wow. That is shocking.
For most of them they must have “believed” they were ready. Or perhaps they “hoped” they were ready.

If you fail any of the NMLS SAFE MLO Tests you will have to wait 30 days before you can register and take it again. With deadlines approaching this can be devastating.

Grand Central is a free service can mask your phone number by giving you a number from any area code, and forwarding calls to your phone. You can customize voice messages for specific callers, and even listen in on voice-mails as they are being recorded in real time, much like a conventional answering machine. Grand Central can record calls for you and transcribe voice-mails into text messages!
